Turning Earth Singers - Pagan Choir - Concerts and Projects
Where have we performed?
Come celebrate the release of Offerings, the new album by The Turning Earth Singers. This 15 song album has many original pieces written by group members, with beautiful harmonies. We made this recording to share some of our own songs, as well as music we love.
Sunday May 11th
Location: Piedmont Home. Location given with RSVP.
Buy a cd and commemorate the occasion with us! There will be refreshments, great company, and we'll sing a short set of music.
Turning Earth is a Bay Area vocal ensemble that sings pagan music at rituals and other pagan events, and has taught workshops at Pantheacon for the past five years. Our members come from a variety of magical and musical backgrounds, and can be heard on other pagan recordings you may already own.
Appearing on the album are Robin Dolan, Joanna Manqueros, Vicki Solomon, Mariah Sparks, Max Ventura, and Meg Yardley.
Please rsvp to TheTurningEarthSingers@gmail.com to receive the address for the party!
|Feb. 15, 2014||Saturday||11:00 AM||Club Max||Turning Toward Justice With Song||"Turning Earth Singers invites people to join us in singing songs for a better world. We set a magical intention of empowering all marginalized communities. We wish to manifest consciousness and connection with one another, including those not present at PantheaCon, and create a world where all our rights are respected and our differences honored. As we blend our voices in song, we open our hearts and senses to prepare ourselves to be allies. While singing, we will join in some ritual activities to help bring this vision to reality."|
|Feb. 17, 2014||Sunday||11:00AM||Carmel||Pagan Childrens' Song and Story Time||Sing Pagan children's songs with rhythm and movement, and read culturally diverse children's books celebrating nature-based spirituality. We'll start with songs and stories for the littlest ones and then move to material for older children. Music and book list will be given as handouts. All families and all ages are welcome! Kids under 7 should come with an adult.|
